This issue has appeared during initial calibration and this first print was possible after 2,5 hours of repeated calibration. Frankly, one simple note* is missing (in my opinion). Your tech support is great and very helpful in this case, they provided me this solution. I just share it here for other owners because is very stressfull to wait for help when your great new printer has such issue during first minutes
Anyway, very important note: Snapmaker support is extremely helpful, competent and fast. Thank you for your great work!
*Yea, and the suddested note for your wiki/guide/error message:
If the print heads are not captured correctly during printer calibration, please repeat the previous step (re-tensioning of belts) first.
Just got mine… Performed several manual belt tensioning. Ugh… First time went the wrong effing direction. First attempt at calibration and nozzle 4 wouldn’t grab. Now it gets hung up on returning nozzle 2 and won’t go to nozzle 3. Starting to regret this machine already…
Does the Snapmaker U1 really need an emergency stop button too…?
I haven’t even been able to print due to calibration errors.
It’s already full of errors, and I’m starting to think it’s just Snapmaker after all
Just note (even wiki is very good in this point) : don’t be affraid to loose screws more than less, be slow with the motions and higher number of movements is better than lower.
