Power Loss recovery doesn't work anymore

Hi guys,

As i’ve searched this forum for doing the “over night pause”, i’ve been using the power loss recovery to do so and it’s been working great since then.

But on my last print, it seems to not work anymore all of a sudden… When i put it back online it doesn’t give me the recover screen anymore and i just lose my print :frowning:

Anybody had this problem ?

FYI on how I pause : 1) Pause on screen, 2) Disconnect the plug with google home
I’ve search the forum and didn’t see any problem like that because i upload my print by wifi on the touchscreen, and i also start them from it…

More info : i didn’t change anything between the last time power loss worked and the first time it didn’t (no update, same way of uploading print etc).

Yes, I just had that happen to me last night. I couldn’t let it run since I was on a Zoom call in the room and shut it down after stopping a long print. Then this morning tried to restart and it was gone. I’ve done this several times before and it was great that it would pick up where it left off. Now I wasted 10 hours of print time and have to start over again.

all i can say is - dont expect it to work running from octoprint, luban or anything other than the touch screen.

other people have had failures with it sometimes and support has asked to retrieve the logs so they can find the problem to address, they do want to make that work right.
