I ask the same question. And I also ask, if they can add numeric keys to layout. Answer from support:
Sorry, the laser password cannot be changed for laser safety reasons. Regarding the laser password and keyboard layout issues, I will feedback this suggestion to the developers. However, due to the current shortage of R&D department, I don’t think the urgency of these two suggestions is very high and they cannot make changes quickly. But they will record it first. Thank you for your good suggestions.
Whats your Password? Mine is PHUR ![]()
I have numbers as well…
I tried to connect our RAY to the Wi-Fi via Luban, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. This also failed via Lightburn. I received the following response from support after opening a ticket:
Support wrote: The issue may be related to the password. Currently, Ray cannot handle very complex passwords, and it seems that your current password might be causing problems with the Wi-Fi connection.
How is it possible that in 2025, a complex Wi-Fi password can’t be adopted by a newly developed machine? The suggestion that I use a simpler password for our internal school network is unbelievable. I wish for an acceptable solution so that I can also use the Ray. Especially because our Snapmaker A350 adopted the Wi-Fi password without any problems and works perfectly over Wi-Fi.
I even can’t believe it’s a wifi password issue.. I think the router is blocking ports or something like this.
Did you try to troubleshoot it with a Hotspot and did it work in the end? - This should be discussed in another thread then.
