Overscraping print plate

Hi,

I’ve recently had to replace my print sheet because nothing would stick to it anymore. I’m wondering if overscraping the print sheet results in poor adhesion? In the end, it was somewhat glossy compared to a brand new print sheet.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Have you tried cleaning the surface with isopropyl/rubbing alcohol?
It could just need cleaning to remove any oils and dirt.

I have heard about people roughing it up a little with sandpaper but I personally haven’t found the need to.

Thanks for the tips!

I’ve cleaned it multiple times with isopropyl with no luck. I’ll try the sandpaper trick when I get the chance.
