Are there any guidelines to judge if a nozzle needs replacing.?
I’ve got a stringing problem when printing with petg so Im not sure if its the settings or the nozzle itself.
Ive been doing some trial prints using 3d Best Q wood fillament

PETG is really stringy stuff, so it’s possible you may not have a problem at all. Or you may have a retraction or temperature settings issue.
If you really think it might be the nozzle, well, brass MK8 nozzles are dirt cheap (like, 10 for $20 cheap), so it can’t hurt to replace it.
thanks for the heads up
