bought a F350T two weeks ago and suddenly i have strange noise whenever Y-axis is moving. From my first point of view i thought there are some screws which are loose. At least this is what the noise sounds like.
What did i try so far?
took off heating bed and frame
aligned both modules and check if one of them doesn’t reach its maximum position.
i checked the metal lid and tensioned it a bit more.
opened the rails and check if they are sufficient lubricated.
Now i am running out of ideas and hope some of you have a good advice.
Would love to upload a video to give you an idea of the noise but i am bloody new here thats why i can’t at the moment.
Hi @Amoe200 ,
I’m experiencing the exact same issue. I’d be interested to know if you were able to resolve it or if you have contacted support and they were able to help? Lowering the speeds brought down the noise quite a bit, however it doesn’t feel good to have it make noise like that. Not sure if I’ m really willing to take it apart for troubleshooting
i was in touch with support.
They sent me some instruction videos for how to assemble the printer properly and get rid of those noise issues.
I dis- and re-assembled my printer twice. Now its ok.
Hi all! Sorry for replying to such a late thread as well.
I do come up with the same issue noises on X and Y Axis but I feel like the print quality is really affected lately. I recognized some pattern especially now with the vibration compensation software its loud as hell.
May you share with me what the support shared with you?
