Neosanding 2.0 with Simplify3d

Hey there!
I have a little project for a friend of mine.
I should print some rim´s for a model car, it should be really fine quality.
I use silky silver filament from Geeetech, unfortunately it is not that easy to get the best results.

I designed the rim in fusion360 and now its about to get the strings of a flat top-surface out:

the other parameters are not prior at this point.- strings, gaps, etc

I searched the web a bit and found the blog from neotok writing about neosanding 2.0

The point is, you have to get a new process for your upper layer.
Set the extrusion multiplicator.
Set the extrusion widht.
Double the speed to not loose too much time.

The trickiest was to get the toplayer an own process in simplify3d, not to be overprinted and accent´s not lost.

I have tried some different options to figure the best out:
All options have 0,08mm to smooth the layer at 60mm/s .
I vary in layer height, outline walls and some extrusion options

  1. 1x outline | 0.01mm layer | 0.1mm extrusion width | 0.02 extrusion multiplicator

  2. 3x outline | 0.01mm layer | 0.1mm extrusion width | 0.02 extrusion multiplicator

  3. 1x outline | 0.005mm layer | 0.1mm extrusion width | 0.02 extrusion multiplicator

  4. 50x outline | 0.05mm layer | 0.1mm extrusion width | 0.02 extrusion multiplicator

  5. 3x outline | 0.005mm layer | 0.05mm extrusion width | 0.02 extrusion multiplicator

  6. new model, same parameters like 5

  7. 3x outline | 0.005mm layer | 0.2mm extrusion width | 0.02 extrusion multiplicator

  8. 3x outline | 0.005mm layer | 0.2mm extrusion width | 0.01 extrusion multiplicator

We have overcome that 2. or 3. is the best.
