Need to interrupt the first time setup

The Artisan Arrived! (Ordered first week of August). Put together without much difficulty. During the startup you must go through the filament loading, bed leveling, and ZXY axis calibration.
I had to open the access of the print module to assist the loading of the filament. Then moved on to the bed leveling, then the axis calibration.
The Y Axis was way off. After inspection I realized the print nozzles were’nt “clicked” fully into place.
Since I’m in the first setup alignment it seems that I cannot go back to do the Bed leveling. I am stuck at the Axis Calibration with now way to get out even if I power off then on.
Is there any way to go back to the bed leveling? The only idea I have is to swap out the module to see if that resets the forced setup procedure.

Hey Furf,

I’m still waiting for my Artisan but maybe this will help:

  • Connect your computer to your snapmaker with the mini USB cable
  • Open the snapmaker luban software and connect to the snapmaker through serial.
  • Type in M502, then press enter (this resets the printer to factory default)

Can i know where you are located?
So that i know when my Artisan is coming

Thanks! will give that a try! I’m located in Las Vegas. My boxes came last week 2 days apart. Box A has a little weight and size. completed the entire unit seems larger than expected. Need access to all 4 sides. spool on iether side, access through the front and occational cable needs in the back.

ok, good news bad news. Bad news is I had to use my laptop because of the distance from the Desktop. My laptop showed it’s age and didnt feel like cooperating.
good news. I restarted the Artisan with the 3D module disconnected. This allows the standard menu to appear. Then I found “Restore Factory Settings” under “Settings / Maintenance”. Any Firmware upgrades had to be downloaded/installed. I could now do the initial calibration from the begining again. Thanks !
