I’m trying to print some tall, spindly items. They print just fine, one at a time. However, when I try printing multiple models, the print fails near the end of the run. See first picture.
I zoomed in on the top of the print and the interior structure seems to have a lot of blobs and excess pieces. See second picture.
I’m using Cura for slicing and have selected “Avoid Printed Parts When Traveling”, but it didn’t prevent the failure.
I am using the same PEI powder heat plate as you.
Since the PEI plate is smaller than the magnetic base, the restraint by the magnet is not strong enough and the plate is probably shifting.
I had the same thing happen to me, but I clipped it to the bed to keep it from shifting.
Slow your prints down on the tall, thin objects… the machine ‘wobbles’ back to front and it causes interactions between the nozzle and the tower. Z-offset on move might help.
