Anyone know about the “palette” system and considered attempting to make it work with snapmaker 2.0?
Even if I had to add a Bowden tube guide to help assure the spliced filament stayed together I might be interested… I just don’t know how much tinkering I’m up to myself so hoping I,m not the first. The rack of spools feeding this will be a chore too…
Why Snapmaker and not one of the models they are already compatible with? Because it’s what I have.
I did but the Palette 3 pro. It is finicky on connecting (Have to turn things on in the right order and then wait the appropriate amount of time.
I bought the P3pro a few months ago. Spent several hours on it and when it doesn’t jam, it does splice well but I didn’t get it to change colors in the exact right place. Seems that the distances are still wrong (and don’t adjust the way I expect them to) and I haven’t had time to work on it more.
I can probably help you get connected but haven’t solved the switching color at the right time part yet. I would say skip it.
