I have recently managed to receive my Snapmaker 2.0 A350 after months of patience and delay with shipments. While I am happy to finally have it, it has been rather underwhelming start to suddenly experience a software based error at the commencement of using the machine, which meant I could not yet even test it.
I installed the latest Luban v3.13.1 to start using the 3D printer, and the moment I open the program, it appears for less than 1 second, and immediately crashes itself. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the program, turning my virus protection off and back on and restarting my computer and nothing helps. I am using a Windows 10 laptop with more than sufficient specifications.
I also tried to install and run the previous versions of the software as well as using different locations of installation for the program. None of these work.
I have the same issue. It installed fine and works perfectly well on one PC, BUT on the second PC it loads for one second then disappears… I’ve tried multiple things to correct the issue without success…
May need to try a completely clean install.
Not sure how you do on PC. On a mac you’d search for all system and preference files and folders and delete them.

Thank you fellas for all your thoughts and suggestions. I will have to echo what mcfpd103 said as I noticed that Luban works perfectly fine on another laptop. Thankfully, I could do my first print using that this other one yesterday.
As such I do not think the issue is about cable connections. I also have completely deleted everything about Luban every time I did a reinstallation.
It is a headscratcher and some help from the Snapmaker support team would be helpful. I contacted them at time of creating this post so I hope to hear from them soon. Will let you know here if a resolution comes up.
Yep, uninstalled then re-installed w/o success. Same issue. Even went into system registry (gasp) and removed all lines relating to luban. Negative, Ghostrider. Downloaded the (really un-related) driver…nada, says latest driver is installed. Disabled Kaspersky. Nope, didn’t work… I wonder if this is a port issue, though it really shouldn’t be to JUST open the software. Again, the first PC, everything works fine… but not the second. Same version of Windows 10… got me stumped… Snapmaker / Luban, please help.
If it makes you feel any better I don’t think it’s anything you did. I don’t think it’s port related, or driver related, for the same reason you just gave. I also don’t think running as administrator or disabling antivirus would affect it either.
Annoyingly, I have been unable to locate any log files for the application. I’m not very familiar with Electron apps, maybe they all log to a special location… The internet suggests this location may be a place to look: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\{app name}\logs\{process type}.log, but I don’t have it in front of me to check, on a different computer.
I don’t recall if it logs to the Windows event log but you could check if there’s any entries under Application
It’s sorted by time so maybe get a crash to happen and then check.
