Little brims (?) on standard settings

Hi,

I just printed a little stand for another print, using the default “0.20mm Standard @ Snapmaker U” profile in the slicer, with Snapmaker Basic PLA.

Now I’m seeing what looks like little brims around the base (see photo). This profile doesn’t have supports or a brim enabled — could this be elephant foot? Does this profile actually have elephant foot compensation turned on, or would I need to enable/adjust that myself?

What does the underside look like?

This is the underside. I am using the default PEI plate. And I have cleaned it with water and soap before the print.

Doesn’t look like brim to me, but part of the print?

This is the (very simple) design. Without edges.

I am now callibrating the printer (Auto bed leveling and Multi-toolhead Offset Calibration), maybe that will solve it. Althought is doesn’t bother me that much, but just curious why this happened?
And not only once, but twice so far.

Looks like a elephant foot to me.

Bed leveling is a good idea.
If you designed this piece yourself, I would suggest to add a 45 degree fase to the bottom with 0.5mm to 1mm.

Another idea would be to decrease the first layer line width to 0.4mm.

Well, bed leveling didn’t fix it.
I will trie with a little fase, and show the results here.

Have you tried printing a simple cube from within Orca (right click menu) & see if its the same at the bottom?

On my Original, I need a bit of elephant foot to get good adhesion. Your underside surface looks like you’re calibrated correctly and had good adhesion. Maybe a touch too low, because there are a few spots that show some lifting off the bed (those 45º grooves).

I have a 6" / 15cm metal ruler I use when I’m CADing models. It’s also a great scraper.
