I am attempting to calibrate the Linear Advance settings using the often-linked teaching tech instructions and the Marlin gcode generator. Every time I save and try and run the gcode, it prints off the front of the bed in mid air. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I can’t get it to print centered on the bed. Can anyone help please?
Is your quick swap and bracing kit installation status in the hmi touchscreen settings correctly set?
If you have to change anything you need to do a fresh bed calibration!
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. It was printing as expected, then I ran a E-step calibration, saved that, re-leveled and calibrated the bed, and then proceeded with the Linear Advance. However, just to be safe, I am running another calibration of the bed now.
What was the solution, was your machine setting correct?
Ya, I just did a second calibration and it worked. I swore I did one after each calibration step, so who knows.
