Linear actuator end stop switch broken

Recently 2 end-stop (limit) swtiches of the linear actuator broke down, now the snapmaker can’t home the x-axis anymore. Does anyone know of replacement parts for this exact part?

Such a waste when a printer is down because of such a small part.

All the help would be greatly appreciated!
See picture down below:

These are used at every linear actuator so the snapmaker can calibrate.

depending on vendor that’s either considered a sub-mini microswitch or a ultra-sub-mini microswitch. What are the part numbers on the side? If you get the exact dimensions you can match it up with parts available on digikey or mouser, or maybe even amazon.

Might be one of these: https://www.newark.com/c/switches-relays/switches/microswitch-snap-action-switches?microswitch-type=ultra-subminiature

That Omron D2F-01L looks close. Do these measurements match up?

how the heck did you unmount that? i just broke mine and can’t figure out an approach to remove it

Hi, you can disassemble 2 sides of the lineair actuator. Than you can disassemble the end stop switch on either side. The end switches are bolt+nut connection and then clamped on.

Contact snapmaker support, they’ll just give you replacements if you order something else (that way you cover the shipping cost if you know what I mean).

English is not my first language sorry if you can’t understand 🤷

snapmaker support will sell you one for $14
they certainly didn’t offer to ‘give me one’ :frowning:

 we had different experiences then.

indeed
maybe the $14 is shipping only!

Meeep toooo! (Grmbl)

Which would be the most direct adress to turn to for spare parts in Europe?

Just broke mine too
Did you find any replacement in Europe?
I just wrote to the support also to ask for a replacement.
Will see what they answer.

Mine was also defective - but luckily, it just disassembled itself (the metal actuator came out), and I was able to put it back in.
However, since I’m now aware of this and not unsure whether it will keep working - has anyone got a solution for the EU?
