I am trying to laser some text to the underside of a wooden bowl that i have made
I can auto focus and set the work origin on the bowl , but as soon as I try to run it in luban the head tries to head for the table , the bowl 100mm from the table
help please
It sounds like you’re not inputting the proper height for autofocus - autofocus doesn’t actually focus automatically. After you’ve calibrated and know the proper distance that the laser should be from the object, you still have to tell it the height or thickness of your object.
You can also just use manual focus. Focus it so it has the smallest dot. Sometimes using your cell phone camera can help to see it.
