I laser engraved this on wood about a month ago without any issue. I finally got my aluminum wallets and wanted to try my hand at etching on those. I used the exact same file, but the results were very different. Here is my preview in 4.9.1 and everything looks great.
However, this is the output. Any suggestions or does anyone know what went wrong?

With the latest Luban 4.9.1 you have to ensure you’re on the latest firmware on your machine. You can either do it via settings or grab the latest from below and install it on your machine via USB.
As of writing, it should be 1.17.17.

That did the trick. I wish the software updates that require a firmware upgrade would state so on start up! I guess I’ll run test images every time I do software upgrades from now on.
Changed the font to match the Airbender motif. So, I guess it worked out for the best.
Besides an alignment issue, I’m happy with the results.
