January 2020 Update

Happy belated new year! We just finished sending out the first batch of Snapmaker 2.0s to all our early birds. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing our users enjoy using our products. With the recent release of the Snapmaker 2.0, we’d like to share with you some updates about the delivery schedule, new user manuals and video tutorials, and early bird feedback.

New Delivery Schedule

Over the course of last month, our logistics team have been working hard to ensure timely delivery of Snapmaker 2.0 to our early bird users, and we’ve achieved just that. About 900 Snapmaker 2.0s have been shipped and will be arriving at their new homes soon. But unfortunately, due to some issues we ran into with the production and the upcoming Chinese New Year holidays, our suppliers and factories have to halt production and this results in a delay of 4 more weeks in the following batches. We apologize in advance for the delay and please check out our Kickstarter Update #14 for a more detailed explanation.

Freshly Baked Snapmaker 2.0 User Manuals and Video Tutorials

We are building the foundation of user support for our devices along with the release of Snapmaker 2.0. We feel that user support is an essential part of user experience, and we want to improve that. This is why we’ve redesigned the Snapmaker 2.0 Quick Start Guides with new aesthetics and concise instructions. We’ve also updated the online version of User Manual and published a couple of YouTube Video Tutorials for guidance. Early Bird Feedback

As mentioned above, we’ve been super busy trying to ensure timely delivery of our products. And we’ve also been paying close attention to our Facebook groups and forum for feedback. We are thrilled that so many users like what they’ve received and say that the Snapmaker 2.0 has exceeded their expectations. It is truly our pleasure to see the reaction from our users and we wanted to share with you a couple of the posts on our Facebook page.



Technical Support for Snapmaker 2.0

Just like every new product, the Snapmaker 2.0 might have some bugs due to a lot of variables upon release and our R&D department has taken notice. It is our duty to be as transparent and responsive as possible to our backers because you guys are our top priority. To the users that are having issues, namely the bed-leveling and the touch screen software issues, we are currently investigating the problems and we will address them once we find the solutions. The progress might be delayed for about a week as it is currently Chinese New Year over here and we will be back on track once we are back in the office. Sorry for the delay and thank you for your understanding.
