Initial layers slumping when printing with ABS. Too Hot?

Hi Team,
I have just started trying out ABS. Printed a small object of my own design.

I have successfully printed these with PLA, but on the first attempt in ABS the first layers seem to sag/slump/squeeze (not sure how to describe it).

Wondering if its a temperature or layer height issue???

Any insight appreciated!

Note; the picture makes the print look really bad. It’s not that bad at all. Actually quite smooth. The issue is the slumping at the base.

Mild warping would be my guess (plus maybe a smidge of elephant’s foot). Try upping the heated bed temperature or using a brim.
