After update to V1.14.1-20211207
head of CNC will not move to home or I can not set work origin

I have the same issue with the Laser tool head in. Can someone help?

Same here, I didn’t know what to try to solve this. The failure came as I installed the laser (1.6 watt) and was calibrating, then everything just stopped. To try and troubleshoot, I installed the 3d head and table but had the same problem.

After rechecking the release notes for:

Dec 13 2021: Snapmaker2_V1.14.1

Under the Controller Section:

New Features

…

  • Prohibit machine moving while controller could not recognized machine model.

I wonder if a bug involving this feature is what is causing out problems?

Same as Erwin, I haven’t tried any other heads. Frustrating.

Any suggestions?

Same, with laser module. Ugh!

Go back to firmware 1.13.2

firmware 1.13.2 has done that, but still not a long-term solution.
