Heating uncontrolably

So I had to release the Nozzle to unclog some broken filament. After that there was a spark in the module. When I tried to insert the filament the nozzle was above 250°C and rising. I have the impression that the heating tube does not turn off now.

Any suggestion of what I should do?

Have you installed the thermistor (white cable) properly to to heating module?
The little glas drop should be located half way inside the small hole of the aluminum block.

Yep. The thermistor seems to be in the right place.

Things just got worse. I changed the module to the laser and it also does not turn off anymore. It is on at full power from the time I turn the Snapmaker on.

Then I think ther is a bigger problem… :disappointed_relieved:

Some updates:

Talking with service they suggested that there was a problem with my controller, I bought a new one and it finally arrived today.
Unfortunately the printer does not initialize now It is in the starting screen for ever. :frowning:

Maybe try to update the firmware

Thanks for the idea, but didn’t work. Still the touchscreen is initializing forever.

I connected the computer and seems to be able to control the printer with my computer.
