I’m new to printing. The Snapmaker Artisan is my first and only 3d printer. I have printed a trex skull just fine with the standard settings. However, every time I try to print a dragon, charmander, or something else besides the skull, my prints get stringy. I was using the default PLA Black settings until this most current print.
Am I on the right track by raising the temperature?
What would cause the Trex skull to print perfectly but any other thing I try it seems messed up?
Print a temp tower and choose the value with best bridge + stringing.
If you like, under testing section is a gcode you could run but be cautious, don’t know anyone who tried it on a Artisan but it should work:
It’s a tower, printed with different temperatures on different stages (z positions).
Have a look at the link or do some searching and you will get results .
