I see that there is a new post-processor available for Fusion 360 that supports the rotary module. Can Snapmaker provide instructions for configuring a new machine in the Fusion 360 machine library?

Our software developer add the Rotary feature in snapmaker-fusion360-configuration-20180730
Cheers

Thanks. I had found that file already, but that is just the post processor. I was wondering if there were instructions for setting up the machine library as well. There are options that I donāt understand yet.
Just to be sure, do you have a paying subscription for Fusion360?
The free version does not support 4axis milling.
We do not have the instructions on rotary module with Fusion 360 yet. I will confirm if our technical team have this plan now.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Edwin
No problem, but thanks for having them look into it.
Not yet, but Iām aware of the restriction and will likely purchase the subscription if I need more than what I can get out of Luban.
@Edwin Any updates on this? I have purchased Fusion 360 and would like to get the rotary configuration set up properly. Thanks.
Iām also interested in this document!
Do you know how to do it yet? All I get is āError: Multi-axis motion is not supported.ā when i use the āRotaryā in Fusion
@Pallex are you using the free license or do you have a subscription license? Rotary support is not available for the free license of fusion360.
Good afternoon. I have just received my rotary module. I am not a fan of Luban because you canāt layer toolpaths with different tools (clear with a big tool and switch to a fine tool to finish).
I am able to use fusion 360 for that is standard 2d and 3d milling, so to reduce milling time. I have a subscription to fusion 360. I have downloaded the latest .cps files .
any further help would be greatly appreciated
After scouring the internet, I ran across this Reddit thread:
Using the Snapmaker-baxis.cps as the post process file and using the setups listed in the Reddit thread, it appears to work on fusion 360. Would be great is Snapmaker would release an update that didnāt require this workaround.
Not sure what your problem is/was or what kind of update youāre expecting for SM to do.
Iāve had no issues since I installed the post-process file from SM.
There was some trouble just with fusion in general and how and where it installs on a mac. But that has nothing to do with SM.

So I have Fusion 360 with the rotary extension, using it on both a Mac and a PC. However, without using the setups referenced in the Reddit thread, I either get a post processing error, or the Gcode comes out super weird
Sorry, wasnāt totally awake when I replied and didnāt see this was referring to Rotary module.

any updates on this front? I am still having issues with the snapmaker post processor and the rotary module. I am getting this error message, that multi-axis is not supported and yes I have the Fusion 360 full licenseā¦
thanks!
