Frozen menu Snapmaker touchscreen


The menu of my Snapmaker is frozen. I can press buttons, and I see that when I press these buttons that the actions are being registered. But yet the submenu’s don’t open. What is going wrong here?

I have checked all cables, and I am a bit in limbo of what to do to resolve this issue.

I have tried to (unsuccessfully) update the firmware, and during that process I noticed that there is a red LED burning on the back, when I turn my device on.

I am having the exact same issue with my brand new Snapmaker Original. Following.

I find it concerning that although this was posted in November, and it is now January, no solutions have been suggested.

I unplugged the power cable from the controller, plugged it back in, and turned it on, and that seemed to do the trick.
