Please do, glad to help
The port you have chosen says something about bluetooth.
You have to get the USB port connected, and you may need to download a driver
Snapmaker 2.0 – Downloads - Snapmaker
Also, you specificlly need to use the mini-usb port, not the usb A port.
I downloaded the driver but still cant choose another port then this i think my mac mini is to old for the driver
Hmm
I think that possibly you could just skip the feedback from the machine and enter the value, you can send commands just not see anything come back.
The machine is shipped with a specific value already, if we just operate on the assumption that it is that value you could do the measurements and just send the codes over to do the adjustment.
I am reasonably sure the default value is 212.21
Follow the instructions on this page, but use the current estep value as 212.21
and skip anything involving getting information from the machine:
Basically, enter relative movement mode, measure 120mm of filament, enter the command to extrude 100 mm of filament, use calculator to define new value based on left over filament, designate this the new estep value per the instructions, save as instructed then reboot.

i think that should get you close enough
Are you using mini-usb on SM and regular usb-a on your mac mini?
Which mac mini? I originally used it on a 2009 MacBook and worked fine with driver.
Only Fusion needing more power made me have to upgrade.
-S
But the problem is i cant even connect with the maschine so i cant give any commands
I use the mini usb on sm there is only the one on the controller ist it? I dont know i downloaded the driver and nothing happend. I use high sierra (10.13.6 i think) and cant update to mojave
you can issue the commands over the wifi connection
the snapmaker accepts gcode commands but does not return information. it says OK back for everything instead.
Hm ok im just wondering why @sdj544 can do it with a 2009 mac book and with my mac mini it doesnt work.
Good the i just go on to the next step and for this i net to enter g91 and then G1 F100 E50 right
Don’t know. You restarted after installing the driver?
I’m wondering if you’re not selecting the SM correctly.
Can you post a screenshot or video of you trying it?
-S
It only gives me one option
And when i try to connect it it says this
I did a video but didnt let me uploaded it
Also i installed this driver
You’re connected correctly.
It should show up something like this:
You’re using the refresh (circular arrows) icon?
Try a different usb port on your iMac? You’re not running any virus programs or have any security settings turned on?
It should show up. 10.13.6 should be plenty new.
Try a different usb cable?

Hm ok the driver is installed in the system so this should be fine but i will try the other options
