First layer height is always too high

When starting a new print. The machine always starts too high in the first layer. Every new print I need to change the Z-offset to? +/- - 0.45mm other wise the print would’t stick to the bed.

I already tried to do some automatic calbration but this would help. it is always too high. It just looks like the machine doesn’t remember I calibrated it

I use cura to make my gcodes, but I don’t think the problem has’t to do with cura.

I hope someone can help me,

thanks in advance

Are you overriding the Initial Layer Height, or leaving it linked to layer height?

Can you upload your GCode? That’ll tell us if it’s the slicer or the printer.

No i don’t override the iniial layer that i know off.

Because i couldn’t upload a file as a new user i copied the first few lines of the G-code here.

Try luban and let us know if you have the same problem.

This is indeed not liban but cura 5.3.0

Try it in luban. I feel like this is a cura thing.

That tells the print head to move to a Z height of 0.2mm, which doesn’t match the layer height comment of 0.1.

Cura for some reason thinks it can’t go lower than 0.2mm.

My GCode always has that MINZ comment the same as the layer height. Check your Initial Layer height. I don’t remember if that’s hidden by default or not, but I have it visible.

You said ±0.45mm, which is a lot more than the 0.2mm I pointed out in your GCode.

Have you checked the calibration sensor is at the correct height?
