I’m using 3D-Fuel’s PTEG. Nozzle at 270 and print bed at 70. Does this photo of the first few layers look like I may be too hot on the nozzle setting?

I would say you need to adjust z offset
Nozzle 270° sounds to high. I print most petg with 230°. Maybe try with 240 first.
Too near to the bed for me.
I print Petg with 225-230°C and 60°C bed.
