After downloading the v1.10 firmware update and attempting to install it, the update will freeze on “Updating…” for hours. If I turn off the machine and try to print, the calibration no longer saves. This results in the nozzle being nearly a centimeter off the build plate on the first layer.
I’m at a real loss on what to do, and am attempting to update the system for the third time now. I was really happy with my machine until I tried to update it.
Can you do it from the controller menu downloading over wifi?
(I can’t remember what version it started allowing you to do that)
What version are you coming from?
Try going back to 1.9 or 1.10.0?
Try downloading the update again in case update is corrupted?
I’ve had it stick on updating screen on occasion. If it does for more than a few minutes it’s stuck. Give it 10 minutes to make sure, power off for a few minutes then try again.

I just turned it off, and when I went to turn it back on it says the current firmware version is v10.1. so maybe the update took? Looking in the settings on the console, I can’t find the option to update.
I’m not sure why the calibration wouldn’t save if not the firmware being off.
Update: did an experiment. Calibrated the machine, then disabled fast calibrate. Print is successful so far, and I’m confident it will be a full success given its consistency previously.
