It would be useful, I think, to be able to modify the filament unload temperature on the touchscreen instead of only in the config files. It should help dial in the tip forming more easily if people don’t have perfect tips. It would also help prevent clogs during the unloading process while using 3rd party hotends.

I think a more practical approach might be to allow manual temperature adjustment with a safe range lock, for example limiting the setting to 170°C – 240°C. This would give users more flexibility while still providing a safety net. Prolonged heating above 240°C can accelerate the aging and deformation of the PTFE tube in the U1 hot end.
Oh yeah, good point. A safe range is the way to go, you don’t want to try doing to too low either.
