Dual extrusion module calibration fail

first thanks for the help
i installed my dual extrusion module about 6 months ago and it went great .
the unit has been off for a few weeks , was last used with the dual extrusion module and it had not been removed from the unit . turned on to start a job and it asked for calibration , odd but ok

except the calibration fails , tells me it is not installed properly, ( worked last time ) , double check to installation and it cant be lowered
checked for firmware, it has the last update , rebooted a few times , nothing changed

so when i run the procedure ( auto ) it looks as if the head does not go low enough and the left nozzle sensor ( which i think it uses for calibration is not even over the bed
i tried the manual calibration and this time the left sensor is over the bed but it is short by 2 mm , and it wont go lower even if i keep pushing the lower button

did a Z offet caibration it works
I re installed y single filament head and it works

anybody see this before

Check for quickswap and bracing kit installation status in the settings menu of the touchscreen.

Well, i did check and it is as it should be, no support and no quick connect

I also read something about the sensor at the back and the led, and it does illuminate

May be defective module, i have had it for only 6 month so it is technically under warranty
