as ths title says my z off set calibration routne is failing to adhere the heated bed even with help using ‘Dimafix’ I should mention Im using black pla and breakaway filament, perhaps thats the issue as i’ve no other colour pla.
Its an entirely new setup and I’ve followed all the quick start guide so far but this probem persits.

Did you ever swipe on your touchscreen and set the live z offset to probably lower value?
Be sure to clean your bed regularly with isopropyl alcohol or hot water and dishwasher soap.

Question. Why must I go through the entire calibration process when switching from the 10w laser module back to the 3dp module? This is really annoying.

Yeah. It is! There shall be the option to just use the latest data. I print single color most time and is amazing annoying to do dual nozzles calibration since it lasts 30min atleast.
I got a manual how to enter the debug mode and skip that on boot to directly jump to start screen on my artisan. But this possibility should coded in the default firmware.
