Just installed the dual extruder today and I am super pissed that Snapmaker still, after such a long time fails to update the firmware to fix this.
Can’t get the calibration example to print properly at all, due to the right extruder temp always being wrong.
Come on Snapmaker, you can’t be serious, this is a bad joke at that price point!!!
Use Pla on the right side, its cheaper and works.
Problem is the model and the pre configured temps. Changing filament doesn’t help.
You can use a filament which fits to the temp, this is pla.
I’m not aware of PLA that prints at 150°C.
The 150 is the Standby temp which is just for the inactive nozzle. When the right nozzle should print, it will heat up to 200°.
But I Had also just open one new Pla just for this calibration because I normally never print with Pla. Not nice to have this prefilled without any selection list of materials… then just transfer calibration stuff to luban.
That’s then exact issue. It does not. It heats up way too late, resulting in a too cold nozzle that can’t print. The model is not printable, no matter which filament you’re using.
I didnt had this issues, it printed both in Pla without greater problems (Z offset had to be adjusted) .
If you have extrusion problems simply let it print and calibrate manually after the auto calibration.
Maybe make a support ticket.
