Cut of bottom of letters in laser

Hi

I noticed they luban cut off the bottom of letters when you got from edit to Process

Bottom of letter g is missing

Hope you will find a fix on that problem.

Best regards.

Henrik

I have exactly the same issue in Snapmaker Luban 3.12.
When Editing a text, the text looks fine, but when switching to Process, the text is cut off and no matter what I do, the text remains cut off.

What am I doing wrong here? How to resolve this?

The trick is to use a program that’s made for creating graphics and then import the graphic into luban.
Just make sure if you save as .svg that you convert your text to paths or curves or whatever your program calls it.
Gimp, Inkscape are a couple free ones.

Ok, so while thank you sdj544, that did not help. I believe I am using a program made for creating text, and that would be the text box in Luban. I am not looking for work arounds, I am looking for a fix. Tim76 is experiencing the same thing I am. It also does it in cnc mode as well. Does anyone know if the creators of luban can be contacted directly?

You can create a bug report using GitHub here:

Thank you. (post has to be 20 characters long)

@guy did you file a bug? can you link to it, so i can comment/follow/vote? i’m having the same issue and i too would prefer to just do my text in the program vs using inkscape
