Wondering if anybody has a best practice for z-offsets specifically for ABS or PETG. I’m thinking it would make sense to calibrate for PLA, and then if I’m printing one of the others, raise it 100 or 200 microns (0.1-0.2 mm). I will play with the numbers, but wondering if anybody has done this already to save me the effort!
(If you’ll excuse me, I will go back to razor scraping the ruined ABS print off of my bed! ;( )
Generally:
PLA in the middle +5 to .1 from card just starting to tug (one step less than SM pull/no push)
PETG .5 to .1 higher.
TPU squished 0 offset.
Haven’t tried ABS.
