Hello, I tried to engrave the Dragon with CNC Module. Depth to engrave was set at 1 mm.
Used 4mm MDF sheet because I am a bit wary of using too hard materials.
Set work origin and started off.
Caused a bit of a dust storm 
so paused the system to do a quick vacuum clean. Beautiful clean cut.
Twice this pause worked fine with a resume afterwards.
The third time the resume caused the toolhead to be driven at speed right through the dragon head, killing the poor bugger and stopping the spindle cold flush with material surface .
I managed to quickly power off the system so no further damage was caused but this does cause me concern.
Has anybody else experienced this ?

He’s not dead, just grazed.
Not sure why sometimes people have problems pausing.
I just vacuum while it’s running.
