Looking for a recomedation for making cuts deeper than 1 1/2 in. Need something that can reach in far before running into the collet holder on the machine.

Use a longer bit.
Unfortunately when you get longer bits the minimum size tends to increase.
You can have a long bit or a smaller diameter bit, but you can’t have both.
Also be aware that the longer the bit the more deflection you will have on both the tool head and x-axis as well as the bed frame.

I’ve never used any of these bits, but I figured maybe my google would serve up something useful?
If you’re going to be cutting that far out from the chuck it’s going to deflect quite easily of course. To keep your cuts clean and on target you’re going to want to go much slower with the feed rate.
