While printing today there was a rapid clicking noise coming from the controller. The print area at the time was a very short back and forth motion for a few inch stretch so I’m guessing it was the relays for X/Y maybe? Just wondering if the audible clicking could be indicative of a potential pending issue or normal behavior? I’ve been around the printer during previous prints but this is the first time I’ve noticed the clicking so it got my attention.
The only clicking noise I could imagine comes from the extruder gears by dragging not enough filament.
Are you sure about the controller?
If you could locate the clicking on the dual extruder tool head, there was a free repair kit for the first units. Search your emails for coupon.
