Suddenly had Z-movement stop and some archaic error message. Couldn’t move it with interface but could move with Z-belts by hand. This is what I found
Inner right panel over the power supply and motherboard is out of place. Figure after some printing and heated calibrations it must’ve warped out just enough to interfere with the bed movement, or be detected as obstacle.
The fix was to gently pry the tabs under the top bracket and push it all to snap into its proper place. Something to check during unboxing, I didn’t notice it.
First week with Snapmaker U1. Not new to 3D printing. No panic mode here, just work through it.
Was testing PAXX12 FW at the time for remote screen and camera, flipped and heated bed in attempt to level out a high spot on PEI sheet when this happened.
Had to use some power cycles to properly cancel operation after error and such and get in front of the actual machine.
All in all a very interesting advance in printers, really like the community driven support and advancement.
