Once in a while a user might run into filament that might need to run hotter or colder. It would be nice if we can change the temp mid print. This can help with things like jamming, stringing, and other things like this.

Use simplify3d for a price, but it includes being able to adjust many parameters including nozzle temp by layers (e.g. layer 10 or 200).
Cura TweakAtZ is also a thing
