ok so this might be the dumbest question ever asked on here, but I am at a loss trying to work out if the CNC module on my A350 will what i am looking for.
I have been doing a lot of laser cutting making bathometric maps and now I want to make a frame for the maps. Taking a piece of 1" wide x 2" deep piece wood for the frame I want to carve out a 1/4" x 1 1/2" channel along the length. Essentially leaving me with an L shape that I will cut to length and fit around the picture. I know a hand router would do this in an instant but I would prefer to use the tools I have rather than spend more money on a new gadget.
Is this possible with the CNC function on the Snapmaker? If so are there any resources that you might be able to direct me to so I can investigate further?
I am not sure if I understand all correct but I wonder, why not?
If it’s basically an rectangle you could do this with Luban.
If it’s advanced you should go with the free maker version of fusion360 (my choice).
