Camera on the laser

Hi guys
I am new to this forum and not very computer savie
I have seen this topic abit but no clear answer
Everytime I run the camera on the laser all I get is blocks that are a different colors instead of pictures. Not sure what is causing this or how to fix it. Everything seems up to date.

I am running Windows 7 professional .
