Bypass Power Supply - Running Snapmaker off-grid with vehicle batteries

Hey all,

Here’s a question for all you wise and knowledgeable people out there:
Is it possible to skip the snapmaker power supply, and power the snapmaker with two 12v vehicle batteries in series? (with a rigged up power cord of course)

I’m planning on doing some van travelling, and it would be fun if I could use my machine while on the go. I realize there’s a bunch of other options that would work for powering this thing (portable power stations, generators, extension cords, etc.). But I’m genuinely curious if this would work, and if it wouldn’t, why it wouldn’t work.

On the back of my power supply is says 24v, 13.4 amps, and 320 Watts (this is the A350t).

Thanks in advance!

Car batteries aren’t 12V. but 14,4V if full charged. The capacity is less then 50%. 120Ah > 60Ah to use. In 4 hours are the great batteries weak on full load.

First you need a buckconverter that can drop the 4,8V @ approx 15A.
