I have my A350 from Kickstarter last week. I am having an issue when I try to print a figure. I believe the STL isn’t an issue as I got it from a Kickstarter and they tested the files with printing etc, and no one else is reporting an issue with the files. The file is the bottom layer of a castle tower. The top and sides look fine, however, when I print out the file the bottom layer is sticking to the bed too well. I heat up the bed to 70F and then lightly try to get the scrapper under the file and gently move it back and forth to get the file loose but the bottom layers always come out looking destroyed and not flat. I have even tried a different file. What should I be doing differently?
Your z offset is to low, its a common problem for new users. When you calibrated the z offset there should be only a tiny bit of resistance on the calibration card. Then if you have adhesion problems, step it down by a little. I would love to see the castle when your done.
Happy making,
