I totally confess that was a wild ass guess, similar to when I’ve had computer issues or monitor compositor issues. Unplugging, leaving off for a while to clear some sort of CMOS state so it reloads from BIOS/firmware directly? Letting some sort of temp or overvoltage sensor reset? I honestly have no idea, but these days it’s almost always worth a try… All it costs is a little time.
