Air Purifier without turning on printer?

I have the A350 with the Snapmaker Air Purifier. It works well.

I have since bought another laser engraver, of course with its own exhaust needs. So, I hooked up a T- vent before the air intake on the Purifier, to service both machines.

The Air Purifier powers on without turning on the printer, but its fan won’t operate unless I power on the A350 and use the touchscreen.

Is there a way I can use the Air Purifier with total functionality without turning on the A350? Is there a fix?

Hi, the Air Purifier can’t run without the A350, but technical support once shared a DIY solution in a post. Maybe it’s worth a try.
