Adding Build Plate Types in Snapmaker Oraca

So I ordered some Biqu CryoGrip plates for my U1 ( BIQU CryoGrip Pro Buildplate for Snapmaker U1 Double-Sided 7-Layer Com – Biqu Equipment ) while waiting for the smooth and textured plated and was trying to figure out how to select a new build plate as it is blocked in the vanilla config of the slicer.

A quick google and I found this short - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/o9fwp9uOeLE - I have not tested this to make sure it prints correctly but I have 6 plates to choose from now. Need to wait for my current print to finish and I will see how it goes. Will test a print to make sure it slices and prints the same with the Textured PEI plate, then try the Cryogrip.

You click Edit Printer → Basic Information → Check Supports Multiple Build Plates

If this is not a good thing to do or if this causes me issues, let me know and I can remove this topic.

I’ve been using Cryogrip Glacier for quite some time now, and this is the way to go. I use the Cool Plate setting there, but remember to set the PETG temperature accordingly in filament profile. PETG need min 70 on the Glacier

Didn’t realize the Glacier Plates were available for the U1! Awesome stuff :sign_of_the_horns::sign_of_the_horns:
