We’ve released a new round of updates for your Snapmaker U1.

How to update

  1. Firmware

    1. Settings > About > Firmware Version > Upgrade Firmware

  2. Snapmaker Orca

    1. Option A: Open software. Go to Help → Check for Updates. If a new version is available, follow the prompt.

    2. Option B: Download/Update Snapmaker Orca

  3. Snapmaker App:

    1. iOS: search “Snapmaker” in the App Store, download, and install

    2. Android: search “Snapmaker” in Google Play, download, and install

:warning: Important: Firmware V1.3.0 and above requires Snapmaker Orca V2.3.0 (or above) or Snapmaker App V2.3.0 (or above).

Snapmaker App V2.3.3 is now available!

Hi everyone,

This release fixes a couple of bugs and improves the camera feature.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed an issue where the red badges for app push notifications wouldn’t disappear.

  2. Fixed an issue on the Print Preprocessing page: when more than 4 preset filaments were available, users could not select the excess filaments to match with the mounted filaments on the device.

  3. Fixed an issue where the filaments and nozzles mapping failed when printing directly from the built-in model library.

Improvements

  • Optimized the camera countdown feature: removed the countdown in Cloud Mode, and cancelled the 5-minute limit in LAN Mode.
