40W lost Z height after flame detected and resume

I just ran a small job with the 40W laseron my A350 and got a visible flame detected and subsequent pause.
That was absolutely ok, I saw a few flashes and think that it was correctly detected.

But when the smoke had cleared a bit (I forgot to turn the fan on…) and pressed resume it went straight down and mashed the head into the workpiece instead of returning to the right Z-height.

It seems to have resumed correctly regarding laser power, X and Y position, but that don’t really help when it pushes around the work piece.

Should I have done anything more than pressed resume, or is there anything else that I messed up?

I didn’t find anything searching in the forum, but if this already is addressed, please point me in the right direction!
