With automatic Z offset should both nozzles go through the same process?

Currently mine does the left nozzle but the right one doesnt touch the bed during the same setting run.

Also are manually set z offsets stored or do they need reset everytime the machine is switched on? Assume the print head has not been removed.

Only one nozzle (left) used to create height map, right one offsets relatively to the left.

The live z offset is stored permanently at least if the calibration prints are successfully finished.

Each nozzle has a offset setting on the touchscreen.
