hey Bijan, what is the mount that you used? Is there a stl of a go pro like mount and you used a suction mount to hold the cam?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09BVR836S is what i used. Very simple, works great
Hi, did you manage to find a guide for setting up Octoprint with the Artisan? Havenāt used Octoprint at all yet, but Iād be interested to know that is involved in setting one up.
seem to be difficult to impossible, they are using their own API and in general it transfers only a limited subset.
Maybe similar to a different model:
Bummer, thanks for the info though.
That looks pretty good, would you have the 3D print file available with instructions on how to mount it on the X axis?
I have the same question. Does anyone on here know how to connect the Beagle can V2 to the artisan? Or anyone have links to setting up the octoprint/octopi with the artisan? It would be such an easy solution.
Iāve used a BeagleCam V2 with my Artisan. It will feed G-code to the printer just fine but it wonāt support the more useful time lapse modes and Iāve had issues with random pauses during printing. I used a USB mini to type A cable; the USB mini side connects to the back of the Artisan controller.
Great at least it kind of connects. Thanks! Now im trying to find instruction to move my old Octopi over from an Ender 3 to the Artisan. Seems like a better tool.
Here to chip in my own camera mount design.
This connects to the print bed itself so the print bed is in a static frame of reference providing better time lapses, especially if using Octoprint. I use a Logitech webcam modded with a GoPro connector but any camera with a GoPro connector will work.
