Hello everyone,
i got a problem with my Snapmaker Original.
3d print start moves far up in z and does not print on the pad.
I dont know whats the problem.
Homing works without any problems. as soon as the printing starts, Z moves up and it prints in the air and not on the PAD.
Firmware update brought no change.
Thanx for your support

Check the linear module cables are in the correct sockets on the control unit.
I unplugged and reconnected all cables.
No change.
I did homing over and over again and also reset and recalibrated, it didn’t work.
Tried again this morning and the print worked properly, next file uploaded and the old error is back.
Printing starts and the printhead moves too far up or during printing the head moves outside the print area.
I’m slowly despairing here.
Could be a linear module problem. Contact support, tell them how you reproduce the issue, they will walk you through troubleshooting and getting your a replacement if you need.
